Ant Afu launches "AI Diet Score" feature that grades meals from photos
Ant Afu (蚂蚁阿福), Ant Group's AI health assistant, has launched an "AI Diet Score" feature. Users photograph a meal; the system identifies foods, estimates calories and nutrients, and scores it using the Chinese Nutrition Society's Reasonable Diet Index. Co-developed with Chinese Nutrition Society experts, the tool gives tailored advice for weight loss, the "three highs" (hypertension, hyperglycemia, high cholesterol), pregnancy and postpartum, and older adults. It is now available.
Ant Afu also expanded its "Scientific Weight Loss: 100 Million Jin" drive, offering 100 million eggs as incentives. The company says more than 2.75 million people have checked in since June and combined weight loss has exceeded 5 million jin (about 2,500 metric tons).
