GENISOMAI raises hundreds of millions of RMB in Series B led by Stone Venture
A Chinese embodied-intelligence robot maker founded in 2023, GENISOMAI, has closed a Series B of tens of millions of dollars (hundreds of millions of yuan), led by UAE-based Stone Venture. Other backers include Hongshan Capital, Yueke Financial, Wuzhong Rongyue, Wuzhong Financial Holdings, Neusoft, Highpower Technology, Yuanjian Capital and Riying Electronics. Funds will go to R&D on robot bodies, embodied AI and task operations.
Its team comes from Xiaomi's CyberDog project, Huawei and DJI; it has shipped over 15,000 quadruped robots into power, petrochemical, firefighting, security, emergency and education sectors.
