Shanghai HiSilicon upgrades HiSpark developer ecosystem and unveils the XDAS four-dimension edge-AI developer framework
Shanghai HiSilicon has upgraded its HiSpark developer community and introduced the XDAS four-dimension edge-AI developer framework, covering AI for Development, Application, Support, and Experience for AI. The company frames it as part of a "light intelligence" strategy for IoT devices, shifting competition from individual chips to toolchains and ecosystems.
The first batch of AI Skills spans five domains, opened with the upgrade. In company lab tests, embedded development efficiency improved about 76%, compressing roughly one engineer's two-week workload into a single day. The community also provides a model and algorithm market: Hi3403 offers over 70 open-source algorithms across 15 categories, and Hi3516CV610 will add more than 40 algorithms within three months.
