ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT) said on August 29, 2026 that its LPDDR6 low-power DRAM has entered mass production and will debut in the Xiaomi 18 Fold. The company describes this as the first time a Chinese memory maker has reached volume production of LPDDR6 in the same year as Samsung and SK Hynix. It also said its DRAM has entered the supply chains of Xiaomi, Transsion, Honor, OPPO, and vivo, with enterprise customers including Alibaba Cloud, ByteDance, and Lenovo. In the second quarter of 2026, CXMT reported a 10% share of global DRAM revenue, placing it fourth worldwide.
