Symbiosis Robotics Releases Humanoid Robot Racing Demo: Testing Whole-Body Intelligence with Go-Kart Driving
A bipedal humanoid drives a go-kart in a demo released Aug 17 by Symbiosis Robotics, an embodied-intelligence startup. The karting scene is designed to test visual perception, multi-contact balance, hand-eye-foot coordination and fine force control together. The company says the demo is its first complete display of its technical direction.
It describes itself as a whole-body intelligence foundation-model company; core team members come from Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence, HKUST and Xiaomi. No product or availability was announced, and the demo should not be read as a shipping system.
