AGILINK's OmniHand 3 Ultra dexterous hand demonstrates Suzhou embroidery skills in real-footage video
AGILINK has released a real-footage video of its OmniHand 3 Ultra dexterous hand being taught Suzhou embroidery by a heritage practitioner: mounting the fabric, splitting silk, threading a needle, twisting thread, picking thread, and then completing a collaborative embroidery piece with a Suzhou embroidery teacher.
The hand has 21 active degrees of freedom, direct-drive actuation, fingertip visuotactile sensors, and full-hand tactile sensing from the fingertips and finger pads to the palm. The company says the demonstration validates flexible-material handling, fine-scale manipulation, multi-finger coordination, and dynamic force control; some movements combine earlier teleoperation data with reinforcement-learning optimization strategies.
