Alaya Lab releases Project Gear to explore next-generation game engineering for AGI
Alaya Lab has released Project Gear, which combines Gear Engine for next-generation game world construction with Gear Platform for multiplayer and multi-agent collaboration. The lab presents the project as an effort to use game engineering to advance AGI.
The release follows work on video world models and hybrid world models. Alaya-EVOKE, the lab's world model, ranked first on the WBench world model benchmark in August.
