Shenzhen-based Bvio debuts Violoop, a hardware device that lets AI operate any computer, at IFA and announces $20M cumulative seed funding
Violoop, a palm-sized box with a touchscreen, debuted at IFA in Berlin on September 4. It captures a computer's display through HDMI and emulates keyboard and mouse over USB, letting AI operate Windows, Mac and Linux machines without relying on old software APIs. Payment, deletion and message-sending actions require confirmation on a physical button.
Shenzhen-based maker Bvio will open Kickstarter pre-orders on September 15 at $399 early bird, with a $699 retail price and October shipping. The company also announced cumulative seed funding of $20M (RMB 140M); CEO Jaylen He is a YC W19 serial entrepreneur.
