D-Space and Oriental Starlink Launch 'Space String' Thousand-Satellite Orbital Computing Constellation
On September 25, 2026, D-Space and Oriental Starlink launched the 'Space String' orbital computing constellation plan in Hangzhou. Oriental Starlink will lead design and operation; D-Space will contribute AI and overseas market expansion. The plan calls for more than 1,000 space agents, with a G1 satellite slated for 2027 carrying an 11.5 kW payload and 40-60 petaOPS.
D-Space says its Xian AI spaceborne computing platform has risen from 60 TOPS to 400 TOPS. It plans to deploy a reconfigurable chip with Tsingmicro by year-end and China's first liquid-cooled space agent next year. The company reports 2025 revenue of $18.6M (RMB 130M), with over half from overseas, and was profitable.
