Autonomous Driving
China's autonomous driving sector, and every entry we have filed under it.
China runs the world's largest robotaxi fleets through Baidu Apollo, Pony.ai and WeRide, and its carmakers ship advanced driver assistance as standard on mass-market models. Regulators began approving conditional Level 3 systems in 2025, and the supply chain beneath the carmakers, from lidar makers such as Hesai and RoboSense to steer-by-wire and domain controller suppliers, is where much of the new funding now goes. AI-managed traffic signals and roadside infrastructure are a parallel, government-backed track.
Our entries cover new models opening pre-sale with L3-ready architectures, strategic rounds for component suppliers moving into mass production, and Series B funding for AI traffic control companies. We favour announcements with a shipping date, a customer or a regulator's approval over demo videos.
