China FAW upgrades enterprise AI agent OpenMind 2.0 and opens its automotive LLM on Alibaba Cloud Bailian

China FAW Group has upgraded its enterprise AI agent OpenMind to 2.0 and made the automotive large language model it developed on Alibaba Cloud's Qwen base available on the Bailian platform for industry-wide use. The company says OpenMind 2.0, built around its Enterprise Operating Intelligence approach, is deployed in strategic management, technology development, product creation, order delivery, and customer operations.

China FAW reports that its bill-of-materials (BOM) agent cut change-order processing time by more than 60% and supports automated compilation for over 90% of BOMs, while an investment decision agent saved over RMB 10 million ($1.4 million) in the first half of 2026. The automaker defines the business objects, rules, and ontology; Qwen supplies the model base, and Bailian hosts the calls.
