AI4S startup Scinetics raises nearly RMB 50M to build multimodal science foundation models

A startup founded by Zhang Zaixi, Scinetics, has raised nearly RMB 50M ($7M). Yingnuo Kechuang Fund led, with Yijing Capital, Xiaomiao Langcheng and Linge Venture Capital participating. Valuation was not disclosed. The company is developing multimodal long-horizon reasoning foundation models for AI for Science built around its proposed "Science Token," starting in life sciences and later expanding to materials and engineering.
