Baiyao Technology Releases Report on AI Virtual Cell (AIVC) Technology Trends, Industry Ecosystem and Application Prospects
A report on AI Virtual Cell (AIVC) technology trends, industry ecosystem, and application prospects was released on September 21. Initiated by Baiyao Technology, written by MIT Technology Review China, and completed under the guidance of Zhongguancun Science City Administrative Committee, it defines AIVC as the new infrastructure for life sciences in the AI era. Based on research across dozens of global research institutions, technology companies, and pharmaceutical companies, the report identifies three industry trends: model generalization and task adaptation, private and newly produced data, and a closed loop between computational and wet-lab experimentation.
The report also discloses that Baiyao Technology released AURA CellOS in June, an AI virtual cell world model using an LLM-JEPA architecture. The company plans to build a TM-Perturb-seq perturbation experiment platform and clinical data resources, and to validate the model in scenarios such as tumor patient stratification, CAR-T optimization, and skin anti-aging target discovery.
