Pet smart-tech brand Moonback raises tens of millions RMB in first funding round from an AI listed company

Moonback, a pet smart-tech brand, has raised several million dollars (tens of millions of yuan) in a first funding round from an unnamed AI listed company to fund AI algorithms, R&D and market hiring. The company reports overseas revenue of nearly $14 million (RMB 100 million) over the past year. It plans smart harnesses, AI sleep pads and cameras that generate health reports and alerts from hundreds of thousands of pet behavior, physiology and sound samples collected since late 2024, plus clinical data from veterinary and university partners.
